Permission to appeal to the Supreme Court granted in Rice v Wicked Vision Ltd

Permission to appeal to the Supreme Court has been granted by the Court of Appeal today in Rice v Wicked Vision Ltd and the joined appeal of Barton Turns v Treadwell on the scope of whistleblowing claims under s47B Employment Rights Act, namely whether employees may bring claims for the detriment of dismissal.

Nadia Motraghi KC, Rad Kohanzad and Daisy van den Berg are instructed for the appellant employer, Wicked Vision Ltd and appeared in the Court of Appeal, instructed by Amit Patel of Atkinson Rose.
