Permission to appeal to the Supreme Court has been granted by the Court of Appeal today in Rice v Wicked Vision Ltd and the joined appeal of Barton Turns v Treadwell on the scope of whistleblowing claims under s47B Employment Rights Act, namely whether employees may bring claims for the detriment of dismissal.
