Overview

Emily joins chambers as a third six pupil following completion of pupillage with a northern set. Emily has gained broad exposure and experience in clinical negligence, personal injury, industrial disease and credit hire work, carrying out advisory and drafting work, alongside a busy court practice.

Volunteering and Pro Bono

Between 2016 and 2018 Emily volunteered at the Bristol and Avon Law Centre where she supported prospective recipients of welfare payments with appealing judgment.  This involved working to establish whether grounds for appeal existed, and then advised clients as to next steps, medical evidence and provided assistance at tribunals.

 

Emily is an animal lover and enjoys spending her free time walking the countryside with her dog, Blue.
