Old Square welcomes two new Members to our team in Bristol

News

We are delighted to announce that Naomi Rees (formerly of 3 Paper Buildings) and Andrew Bell have joined Old Square Chambers and will be based in Bristol.

Naomi Rees is an established practitioner who specialises in clinical negligence, personal injury, inquests, Court of Protection, regulatory law and costs. Naomi is ranked in the Legal 500 2017 edition and is referenced as being “very congenial and meticulous”.  Her client care skills mean that she is often called upon to advise in sensitive matters, where she provides straight-forward advice with empathy and with a detailed understanding of the facts and the law. Naomi brings a wealth of experience, adding further strength to the profile of our recognised Clinical Negligence team. Welcoming Naomi to the team, Ben Collins QC, Head of the Clinical Negligence team, said “we are delighted that Naomi is joining us. She brings both expertise, experience and client skills to what is already a strong clinical negligence team in Bristol, and we are very much looking forward to working with her.”

Andrew Bell was called to the in Bar in November 2016, following his role as an in-house Advocate at a large Bristol Solicitors firm.

Andrew is developing his experience across all of our key practice areas. He represents both claimants and defendants in trials, stage 3 hearings, application hearings, case management conferences and costs case management conferences. He also has extensive experience of credit hire and repair cost disputes in the context of road traffic accident claims, including appeals. To view his profile, please click here.
