Old Square Chambers will be speaking and exhibiting at the APIL Catastrophic Injuries Conference 2024, which will be held at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham from the 15-17 May.

Bruno Gil will be speaking on Wednesday 15 May on “Muyepa and Scarcliffe: Some lessons from the High Court“. The session will cover:

• What lawyers can do to help experts
• Ensuring regulatory and ethical duties are adhered to
• Case law and practical guidance on how to get the best out of experts
• Approaches when there is a factual dispute
• Warning shots from the High Court
