Old Square is taking the opportunity to remember, discuss, and explore the huge contribution of Black History in the UK and the challenges to come for a country that embraces equality and diversity.
Cyril Adjei of Old Square Chambers will chair a panel discussion with speakers at the forefront of issues of race and equality in all aspects of society.
The guest speakers will be:
Troy Townsend– Head of Development at Kick It Out, the charity working to end racism in football.
Hamid Motraghi – Chair of the Civil Service Race Equality Forum, the body dedicated to advancing diversity and equality for ethnic minorities in the Civil Service and its agencies.
Trevor Sterling –Chair of the Mary Seacole Trust, the charity dedicated to creating a fairer and more inclusive Britain, and Partner at Moore and Blatch.
Rupa Huq MP– Member of Parliament for Ealing and Acton, a lifelong campaigner for equality
