An evening lecture chaired by Melanie Tether – widely regarded as one of the U.K.'s leading experts in TUPE. With Ijeoma Omambala and Betsan Criddle speaking, it will include:
A catch up on domestic case law including when there can be said to be an 'organised grouping' of employees, when an employee is 'assigned' to the group transferring and when a task is of short term duration
How early conciliation obligations are satisfied – or not – in TUPE situations – Mist v Derby Community Health Service NHS Trust
Consideration of the judgments of the CJEU in Ferreira da Silva e Brito v Estado Portuges and ADIF v Aira Pascual
