Roz recently represented a lecturer in Fitness to Practice proceedings in front of the Education Workforce Council (‘EWC’). During the course of the hearing, only those allegations which the lecturer had already admitted were upheld and subsequently she was given a reprimand. An article posted on the UCU website reflects the lecturer’s gratitude and high regard for the representation she received, including from Roz who is the barrister referred to in the article, having represented the teacher on instruction from the UCU from an early stage of the EWC process through to its conclusion.
