Old Square Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of Robin White as an independent member of the new Hinkley C power station Community Fund. The panel will decide on the status of applications made by the local community for funds established under section 106 of the planning arrangements for the next stage of the Hinkley C construction. Funds are likely to amount to £20 million over the next ten years, and are available for communities most impacted by the Hinkley C project.
The panel also includes representatives from EDF, West Somerset, Sedgemoor and Somerset County Council, and the Somerset Community Foundation.
