Yaade commenced pupillage at Old Square Chambers in October 2026. He is keen to develop a practice across chambers’ specialist practice areas.
Before coming to the Bar, Yaade completed the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford with distinction. He studied on an academic scholarship, taking modules in Conflict of Laws, Human Rights at Work, Advanced Administrative Law and Regulating Relationships.
Yaade also worked as an employment paralegal at Leigh Day Solicitors. There, he was involved in Bandi & Others v Bolt Operations OÜ UKET/2206953/2021, a major Employment Tribunal claim on the worker status of Bolt drivers. Alongside his casework at Leigh Day, he wrote on the burden of proof in discrimination claims for the Discrimination Law Association. He has also published on trade union recognition and the relationship between express and implied terms of employment contracts in the City Law Review.
Through the 10,000 Black Interns scheme, Yaade undertook internships at five sets of chambers over six weeks. During that time, Yaade was exposed to a range of commercial and statutory employment work, particularly in restraint of trade cases in the High Court.
In 2024, Yaade was the winner of the annual Gray’s Inn Moot Competition. That year, he was selected to represent Gray’s Inn at the International Sports Arbitration Moot.
