Karim has experience in and accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ core practice areas.
In the County Court, Karim has experience in a range of matters relating to personal injury litigation. This includes providing representation in Fast Track trials and various interim hearings. Karim has also drafted written advices and pleadings. He will consider work on a CFA basis.
Karim also appears on behalf of clients in the employment tribunal, in both final and preliminary hearings. During his pupillage he appeared pro-bono, instructed by the Free Representation Unit, for a claimant in a preliminary hearing on the issue of state immunity. Karim has a particular interest in industrial relations, having worked at the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union prior to starting his pupillage.
Karim undertook his pupillage in Chambers under the supervision of Madeline Stanley, Bruno Gil, Laith Dilaimi and Christopher Edwards. He joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2024.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Karim worked as an economist, then in Ministerial Briefing, in the Department for Work and Pensions.
