Overview
Gareth joined Chambers in October 2023 following successful completion of his pupillage.
Gareth accepts instructions across Chambers’ core practice areas and has particular experience in employment law and personal injury. He is regularly on his feet in the Employment Tribunal and County Court, alongside of which he maintains a busy paperwork practice.
Gareth’s employment practice involves routinely appearing in public and private preliminary hearings. In addition, he has been instructed in multi-day, and multi-week, employment tribunal hearings across a range of areas (including, but not limited to, discrimination, whistleblowing, wages claims and dismissal).
In Gareth’s personal injury work, he represents both Claimants and Defendants in fast track, small claims and Stage 3 proceedings. His injury work typically consists of claims involving road traffic accidents, occupiers’ liability and employers’ liability but he has experience across the law of negligence. He has been instructed, and successfully appeared, in cases involving fundamental dishonesty and fraud.
Gareth also accepts instructions in other areas of Chambers’ work, such as inquests and information law.
