We are again delighted to report a record number of entries for Old Square Chambers' barristers in the latest edition of the Legal 500 directory, which recognises excellence across the UK legal marketplace.  This years entries reflect the continued growth across all of our specialist practice areas.
 
  • Within Civil liberties and human rights (including public inquiry law and actions against the police) John Hendy QC comes recommended as a leading silk in the area.

  • Chambers is ranked as a leading set of chambers in the area of Clinical Negligence and Healthcare. Recommended silks at Old Square Chambers include Mary O'Rourke QC, who has 'the most fantastic knowledge of the law, and gives her all to every case'; and David Wilby QC, who is noted for his'meticulous preparation and excellent advocacy skills'. Alan Smith and the 'very approachable' Charles Woodhouse also attract praise.

Among the juniors, Ijeoma OmambalaMelanie Tether (who'goes the extra mile for clients'), and the 'exceptionally well-prepared' Deshpal Panesar are highlighted.
