Laura Gould elected as an Ordinary Bencher of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn

On Tuesday 9^th December, Laura Gould was published as an Ordinary Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn during Members’ Lunch in Hall, after being elected on Tuesday 18^th November.

Laura said “The Inn’s staff and members have been a supportive and influential presence throughout my career. Volunteering for the Inn has been a vital part of what makes being a barrister so much more than a job to me. I am both daunted and excited at the prospect of serving the Inn as a Bencher for many years to come.”

Laura is the youngest woman to be elected as a bencher at Lincoln’s Inn, and quite possibly the youngest ever, but with over 600 years of records to check, that could take some time.
