Inquiry announces Sutton review

Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) has today appointed Mark Sutton QC to conduct a review into the safeguarding and dignity at work procedures at the Inquiry.

Chair Professor Alexis Jay said: “Last November, following publication of the Home Affairs Select Committee’s report on the Inquiry, I said that I would invite a senior legal figure to conduct a review into some of the issues raised by the Committee. I have invited Mr Mark Sutton QC to lead that work. He will report to the Inquiry on completion and he has also been asked to prepare a statement which we will publish.”
