Jane McNeill QC obtained an interim payment of £400,000 in the High Court in order to purchase accommodation for a Claimant with paraplegia. HHJ Grenfell rejected the Defendant’s argument that the Claimant should have mitigated his loss by seeking provision from the local authority.
