The Bar Council held its online employment law Q&A event for heads of chambers and members of chambers’ senior management teams last week. The expert panel, which was convened by Chair of the Bar Council, LPMA and IBC Covid-19 Working Group, Robin Jackson, and included Rebecca Tuck QC and Nadia Motraghi from Old Square Chambers, and David Murphy from Fox Williams LLP, discussed matters relating to the furloughing of employees and redundancy, annual leave accruals and holiday pay, cuts to salaries, bonus schemes and employee benefits, and the impact upon those with caring responsibilities and underlying health conditions.
