Katherine Howells will present this online webinar for the Bristol Law Society.

This talk explores the rationale underlying and methods of calculating loss of earnings in relation to injured employees as well as the self-employed and those in partnership from short term periods to whole working life claims. Topics covered include sources of evidence, the basic structure of a claim, use of the updated 8th edition of the Ogden Tables, the impact of residual earnings capacity, promotion prospects and fluctuating income, reduced life expectancy, fatal accident adjustments and practical guidance on the presentation of calculations in Schedules and Counter-Schedules.
