In the case of Mehmetemin v Farrell, Paul Rose QC was instructed for the claimant in a case seeking damages relating to a personal injury sustained during an RTA. Damages of £960,000 were awarded, which include recovery of a notional sum for gratuitous dog-walking provided by her husband.

Paul Rose QC also represented the claimant in the case of Brown v Mujibal in a claim for damages for personal injury. It was held that a defendant was able to rely on CPR r.33.4(1) to cross-examine the claimant on comments made about the effects of her injuries despite her not having served a witness statement.
