Ijeoma Omambala QC, Rebecca Tuck QC, Eleena Misra and Nadia Motraghi have come together to form the Bar Council Working Group and Think Tank on Flexible Working. They are considerably assisted by Anna Whitehouse (aka Mother Pukka), author of the Forever Flex report.
They will be liaising with family and maternity organisations such as Maternity Action and Working Families, in hearing and understanding real life stories, in real time, together with hard data on what is going on in the wake of the pandemic, and the lessons that can be harnessed in terms of meaningful law reform. This knowledge and data will be used to support the work of the Bar Council’s Law Reform Committee of which Eleena Misra is a Vice-Chair.
Old Square’s team of barristers are experts in employment, equality and public law, with a long record of high calibre work at first instance and appellate level. Each brings a unique perspective to this project based on their experiences as working mothers at the Bar.
