Kara Loraine instructed in controversial case involving high risk obstetric procedure

Kara Loraine represents a family at an inquest into the death of a new born baby following a delayed caesarean section. The case involves allegations of failure to correctly categorise the urgency of the caesarean section and failures to properly advise the parents in relation to relevant risks. The matter is currently adjourned for further investigation  following evidence that lawyers for the hospital had altered a witness statement.
